MontessoriClass Sections

Our chosen educational philosophy encourages social interaction between age groups, and children are not strictly kept or classified into a group/class or limited to specific age activities. We follow the individual child’s development; thus, the school’s class sections are not fixed. However, for practical reasons, four distinct groups are defined as follows:

Expeditioners (Grade-R)

In grade R, the final year of preschool, children prepare for the great expedition into primary school and beyond.

What will my child learn?

Our curriculum develops executive functioning skills through cognitive science-based teaching philosophy to enable goal-directed behaviour across the following learning strands:

Science, Biology & Geography

Through a hands-on, experiential approach, children experiment and observe elements and activities within our carefully planned learning environment using the scientific method to study and understand the world around them.

Education of the Senses

Young children naturally explore their environment and its sensory properties: temperature, texture, size, shape, sound, and scent.
We use this to help develop a child’s sensory aptitude, discrimination and perceptual abilities.
